He has played and portrayed the character of ‘Kalnemi’ in Ramanand Sagar’s popular TV serial ‘Ramayana’ and rendered many songs in it.
Rajendra Jain has sung many songs under the direction of Ravinder Jain, in his TV Serials Shree Krishna, Ganga, and Jagat Guru Shankracharya apart from the movies ‘Kokh’, ‘Bajraghat’ and ‘Jai Devi Mehrawali’ etc.
‘Bharat Varsh Mahan Hai’ is the Album of his Patriotic songs, which was released by Rajesh Khaitan, M.L.A & Treasurer of West Bengal Pardesh Congress Committee, Kolkata, in the presence of Shri Dinesh Bajpai, Police Commissioner of Kolkata. The Chief Minister of Rajasthan Shri Ashok Gehlot, had honored him with the Award of ‘Rajasthan Gaurav’, at a crowded function. For his Bengali Folk Songs Album ‘Bangla Aamar Praan’ he was declared as The Best Singer -2001. He was also felicitated by Ex-Cheif Minister of Bengal at Anandlok for his ‘Kaali Baari Cholo’ Shri Jyoti Basu.
His Most Unforgettable performances are: His performance at Shanti Niketan Jain Temple on 10th Feb.2007 at IPOH. His performed a Ballet ‘Shree Krishna Charitam’ in Kannada language at Hassan, Karnataka. His remarkable performance at ‘Greatest
Mahamastkabhisheka’ at Sharavan Belgola, where he rendered Jain Bhajans
in Kannada. He is the author of Narayani Mangal Paath and Jeen Charit Manas
and above all, an English book ‘Ramayana- Theatre In India’.
